People FallingINSTANCE 1 - PRE-MOVIE We were watching the slides and listening to the lame movie radio station they play. The theater is packed with people, I can't remember what movie it was, but it was a big one, maybe Matt will remember. Regardless, this small group of teenagers comes in and walks across the bottom of the theater in front of the screen. Without warning the largest of the group just hits the deck, tripping over the nothing in front of the screen. The thud his body makes is enough to shake the entire theater, and the noise is louder then the pre-movie chatter. There is no escape from that one, the entire packed theater starts laughing their fucking asses off at the kid. The best he can do is get up, dust himself off, wave to the crowd and just try to grab onto his last shred of pride. INSTANCE 2 - POST-MOVIE A few weeks later me and Matt went out to see another movie, me and Matt usually sit through all the credits of a movie, Matt likes to look for names he knows in the audio section, and I like to listen to the music. For this particular movie, Matt and his weak small bladder couldn't handle sitting through the end credits, so he bails to empty his pee-bag. I am sitting there in the front row (we got there late) and there are 2 kids right in front of me on those little razor scooter things in front of the screen. The one kid is just standing there, one foot on the pavement, one on the scooter, and the next thing I know the dude is falling on his ass. He tried to delay it by grabbing on to the scooter harder, but all that did was make his fall harder, louder, and more painful. When he got back up, him and his friend cleared the theater pretty fast out of embarassment, and when Matt got back I told him what he missed, and as expected, he was pissed. Back |
