Old CrippleI am people watching and I notice this ancient old dude with a walker at the top of the escalator nearby, and right then I knew "This dude is gonna fuck himself up". The old man gets near the bottom of the escalator and I brace myself for funniness, and sure enough, the guy can't get his walker over the metal grate at the bottom, and since the stairs keep moving even if you aren't, the man goes completely cripple. Arms and legs are flailing everywhere, and the walker will not budge (it had wheels on it that just rolled with the movement of the stairs). Luckily for him (and me), someone who was about the hop on the escalator helped him out. I feel no remorse for watching the old man go cripple on the escalator, because as I stated at the beginning of this story, I was standing at the bottom of the ELEVATOR, so the old man brought that shit upon himself by not using the cripple transport.
